California Professor Assaults 16-year-old Female Student, Steals Her Sign

[From article]
Late last week, Santa Barbara officials announced that Miller-Young is being prosecuted for misdemeanor theft, battery, and vandalism in connection with her assault on Ms. Short.
Short says Miller-Young pushed her at least three times, stole her sign, then grabbed and attempted to restrain her while others made off with the sign.
Short’s father told Fox News that he hopes the prosecution of Miller-Young will serve as a lesson for those who seek to halt free speech on campus. “She was free to engage in a rational dialogue with them,” Mr. Short said. “Instead, she chose to bully them, steal and destroy their property, and hit and scratch my daughter.”
“I think the goal of this prosecution should be to set a good example for her students, one that will not only deter her from repeating this conduct, but will also deter those who approve of her actions from imitating her appalling behavior,” Mr. Short added.

Mireille Miller-Young is an Associate Professor at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She teaches in the Department of Feminist Studies (“an interdisciplinary discipline that produces cutting-edge research,” offers an undergraduate major and minor, and houses “the minor in Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer studies”). According to her university web page, Dr. Miller-Young’s “areas of emphasis” are “black cultural studies, pornography and sex work.” She appears to teach four courses: “Women of Color,” “Sexual Cultures Special Topics,” “Feminist Research and Practice,” and “Sexualities.”  She holds a Ph.D. in “American History and History of the African Diaspora” from New York University.  The title of her dissertation,  a book version of which is forthcoming from Duke University Press, is “A Taste for Brown Sugar: The History of Black Women in American Pornography.” She has contributed to such organs as $pread, “a quarterly magazine by and for sex workers and those who support their rights,” Colorlines, a magazine with “articles concerning race, culture, and organizing,” and the New York Times, a paper that — well, you know. Dr. Miller-Young, again according to her web page,  “has won several highly regarded grants and awards,” possibly for her contributions to C’Lick Me: A Netporn Studies Reader and  The Feminist Porn Book: The Politics of Producing Pleasure.

there is nothing out of the ordinary about Dr. Miller-Young.  She is exactly what you can expect when you sign up for a course in the “humanities” these day.

“Abelist” is a word from the world of Mireille Miller-Young, Stephanie Gilmore and Heidi Cautrell. If you don’t recognize the word, you might be forgiven. The Left is another country. They do things differently there. Even the words are different. The inhabitants of that strange country routinely refer to objects you might not recognize. They talk about Whiteness Theory, Phallogocentrism, Gynocriticism, and the Écriture féminine as you would WD-40, grass, spare tires or doorknobs.  They are everyday objects of their world though you may never have heard of them.
If it has never occurred to you that to use the phrase “to stand with” is a mortal insult then you’re not with it.

It’s a clash of cultures, a collision between one part of America and another.
[. . .]
The pro-life demonstrators holding up their poster can be forgiven for thinking they were still in America. After all they had crossed no marked boundaries. So they thought it was alright to peaceably assemble.
[. . .]
When Mireille Miller-Young snatched away the banner from Joan and Thrin Short, she was doing no more than fulfilling her tribal duty, defending her “workplace” against some interloper from Flyover Country, rumored to exist somewhere beyond the borders of the University of California, a place imbued with strange ideas about the First Amendment and the Constitution.

She, her older sister Joan, 21, and some other pro-life activists were holding signs and demonstrating in a free speech zone on the bucolic campus March 4 when Miller-Young, who also teaches courses on pornography, went berserk.
The sisters say they distributed nearly 1,000 informational pamphlets during the event, which was organized by the Riverside-based nonprofit Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust. Things took an unexpected turn when, according to Short, Miller-Young approached the demonstrators and a group of students who had gathered.
“Before she grabbed the sign, she was mocking me and talking over me in front of the students, saying that she was twice as old as me and had three degrees, so they should listen to her and not me,” Thrin Short wrote in an email to “Then she started the chant with the students about ‘tear down the sign.’ When that died out, she grabbed the sign.”
[. . .]
In the report filed by campus police, she claimed she had a "moral right" to act in the manner she did.

When words fail. Three degrees? She sounds just like Barack Obama. Credentials make the person. And makes them right. Aside from state criminal charges what about the First Amendment? UC Santa Barbara is a state institution. The professor is a government employee. Typically this university professor, a black woman, at a prestigious state university, who often speaks for oppressed women and black victims of white oppression attacks a 16-year-old white student, steals her sign, and physically attacks the teen. Isn't that what affirmative action was established to accomplish? To enable retaliation of black professors to attack and to censor white students?

On March 4, 2014, UC Santa Barbara professor of Feminist Studies, Mireille Miller-Young, attacked Thrin Short, a young pro-life activist who was trained by Survivors. Miller stole Short's sign, and encouraged a group of students to violence, inciting an angry mob. Miller then took the sign into an elevator, where she repeatedly pushed, and even pulled Short, who was attempting to hold the elevator doors open until police arrived. Read the full story here:

A Taste for Brown Sugar was Miller-Young’s doctoral dissertation.  For years, she has been preparing that oral history “research,” at taxpayer expense, for publication.  She summarizes her work: “Conducting oral histories with current and veteran black adult film actresses active since the 1980s I investigate what forces invite black women to this arena of sex work and how the women theorize their own engagement with the field.”
Her implicit advocacy of pornography work for black women is based on her view that black female sexuality is a front in the permanent battle against racism, and that the hustling of black pornography actresses makes them civil rights heroes.

"We, as a society, should all be involved in the conversation of technology governance, not just the legislators who often do a knee jerk reaction, or the inventors and entrepreneurs who often don't think about some of the consequences of their technologies," Hurley continued.
This is something that doesn't just exist in video games anymore. The technology is here and not everyone is ready.
"We, as the people who have to live our everyday lives, often are either affected by or ruled by things that we never have a discussion about or are never involved in," continued Hurley

Journalists, Politicians Remain in Denial About Black Teen Violence

[From article]
Ho-hum, a mob of 200 teenagers rampages through the downtown of an American city, assaulting and hospitalizing people and robbing stores. The mayor calls for calm.
And nobody outside that local media market, where it cannot be ignored, hears a thing about it.
Now why would that be? Could it possibly be because surveillance video from a convenience store that was robbed shows all the miscreants were black?

Homeland Security To Run Practice Exercises Targeting "Free Americans"

[From article]
Leaked Homeland Security documents obtained by Infowars reveal details of a joint DHS/FEMA national exercise set to take place this week, one of the components of which revolves around an effort to counter online dissent by a group called “Free Americans Against Socialist Tyranny,” which is disgruntled at the imposition of martial law after an earthquake in Alaska.
The document again underscores the federal government’s obsession with characterizing libertarians and conservatives as some kind of extremist radical threat.
[. . .]
As we have exhaustively documented on numerous occasions, federal authorities and particularly the Department of Homeland Security have been involved in producing a deluge of literature which portrays liberty lovers and small government advocates as extremist radicals.
The document also mentions the threat posed by “disgruntled military and Department of Defense civilians,” which ties into the talking point, repeatedly promoted by the DHS and other federal agencies, that returning veterans pose a major domestic terror threat.
The Capstone Exercise 2014 document makes it clear that a key part of the Department of Homeland Security and FEMA’s preparation for the aftermath of major catastrophic incidents in the United States is centered around combating online dissent which will be sparked as a result of federal authorities and military assets instituting martial law, or what the document refers to as “Defense Support to Civil Authorities”.

3/16: Stolen at Birth: A Decades-Old Mystery
40:47 03/15/14

This story was broadcast on ABC News' 20/20 hosted by Barbara Walters on March 16, 2014. The man, Paul Fronczak, told his wife, "I don't know who I am. I don't know when or where I was born."

It is a long story of a woman who stole a newborn baby from the arms of his mother in a Chicago hospital. Then years later a baby was abandoned in Newark NJ. The parents whose baby was stolen thought it was their baby and raised him as their own. But when DNA testing was available the test showed that these parents could not be the man's parents. That is what led to the comments to his wife. And you thought you had problems?

Mine are not near as basic. I know where I was born and who my parents were. But sometime in 1970 I met a woman who changed everything else about me. Since then  I've been surrounded by homosexuals, and everyone including the FBI told everyone "He's a homosexual." 43 years later (today) a lesbian graduate student in psychology at Harvard University Medical School, who is protected by Harvard University campus police continues a campaign to try to make me into a homosexual. I am not kidding. It shows how distorted the priorities of government especially law enforcement is in this country.

I am 71 years old. For the past 17 years I've complained to every taxpayer funded public and private agency in Massachusetts (and other states) whose mission is to protect vulnerable persons. They all refuse to investigate the numerous daily felonies committed against me. When I called to other states they asked me why I called them if I lived in Massachusetts. I explained "Because they won't help me here." In case I did not reveal it, one homosexual mogul in Cambridge said to me in February 2014, "You wore out your welcome here." Do homosexuals control who lives in Massachusetts too?

The criminals who conduct the abuses employ lawyers, psychologists and local thugs employed by police and the FBI. They tamper with my landline and my cell phone. My home computer crashes regularly due to their interferences. USPS mail is withheld or not delivered at all.
They keep me under 24/7 surveillance and disturb my sleep every one or two hours every day. They tell everyone I know, knew or meet, "He's crazy." That scares ordinary people away so that the criminals will have free access to conduct their depraved activities. It also permits the human services agencies to ignore me. If a person is crazy what he says can not be relied on. A state police officer at the Massachusetts headquarters told me that.

It shows that all it takes are sufficient allegations by criminal psychologists (like the Harvard University graduate student lesbian) that a person is crazy to censor what he says and to deny him First Amendment rights-- the Right To Access to the government,  the Right to Petition the government and the Right to Redress. Psychiatry serves government criminals.  It is the same here as what psychiatrists did in Germany under Hitler and in Russia under Stalin. Journalists maintain the image of psychiatry just as they are conditioned to do.

In addition these same people say, "He's a retired drug dealer." and best of all to silence me, "He's a racist." There are more elements of a 43 year character assassination campaign but those three are enough to make me into a pariah. Who do you believe? 43 years of government character assassination? Or what I try to say in my blog, which one Harvard University lawyer repeatedly told me "No one reads your blog."

Scientists Created Cover Which Helps Heart Continue Beating, Prevents Attacks

[get embed code]
[From article]
Scientists have created an external membrane using a 3-D printer than can keep a heart beating virtually forever.
The thin membrane is elastic, designed to stretch over a heart like a glove, and is outfitted with tiny electrodes that monitor cardiac function – it was first demonstrated as a proof of concept on a rabbit heart.
Researchers at both the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Washington University published the astonishing breakthrough in Nature, and hope it will someday help prevent heart attacks in humans.
