Ever see a yellow gandy dancer? This is how it now works and what is happening from Chicago to St. Louis for the high speed rail. They are now working around Springfield. This is amazing to watch. They won't let you close enough to watch. This is even better and warmer. They just did this operation through Sherman for the high speed rail.

People were stopping along the highway taking pictures.

For those who live in the Springfield area and have seen all the machines running up and down the tracks, here is a link to a video of how the concrete ties and rail are set in place. The road bed was raised 13 inches to accommodate for the new high speed rail line between St. Louis , MO. and Chicago, IL. There are only two of these track laying machines in the world, one here the other in Europe.

This is a similar but less complex machine that digs up old city streets and lays new asphalt on city streets.

After people were running out side of the Carls Jr. a man holding what looked like to be a metal pipe bender was walking very slowly and calmly toward the side of Carls Jr. very nonchalantly smashing in the windows with his weapon, he then walked into the fast food restaurant. while the suspect was inside the police arrived and set up to the right of the enterance. the police told the suspect, some command i was unable to hear, the suspect then walked out side and well the rest can be seen from the video, at the time it was believed that he was shot with rubber pellets and sadly that wasn't case. The suspect seemed to be shot 5 times while facing the officer and then shot at 5 times again while his back was turned to the officer, allegedly of course

The Third Jihad: Radical Islam's Vision For America is a controversial documentary film made by Wayne Kopping on the subject of radical Islam in present day United States.
The MD featured in the film conveys his own personality, what you see is what you get. This film might be the most important for educating liberals who are unaware that there really are cultures that are not compatible with Western liberal democracy. The point of the film is that Islam itself is not "truly" the way the jihadis portray it.
Whether he is correct or not about the history of Islam, the crucial point is that we have consensus that Jihad is a problem. People like Chomsky and Normand Finkelstein can flirt with murderers all they want to, but the rest of the body politic needs to pay attention to the facts before they cast their votes on the advise of such blind propagandists.
It's ironic that the 2 biggest problems in Western liberalism also happen to be eligible for aliyah, and the biggest victim of their misguided activism is Israel, with the United States suffering less only due to her power and physical barrier from the heart of Jihadi global spheres of influence.

An underground electrical cable failed at the Harvard University Fogg Museum renovation project in Cambridge. Area customers lost electric power beginning at about 2:30 PM. At about 5:15 PM an NSTAR employee said it would be about two hours before power was restored. Buildings on Broadway, Ware Street, Prescott Street were affected. Known outside Eastern Europe. For centuries, miners have extracted salt
there, but left behind things quite startling and unique. Take a look at the most unusual salt mine in the world.

From the outside, Wieliczka Salt Mine doesn’t look extraordinary.
It looks extremely well kept for a place that hasn’t mined any salt for
over ten years but apart from that it looks ordinary. However, over two
hundred meters below ground it holds an astonishing secret. This is the salt
mine that became an art gallery, cathedral and underground
lake.

Situated in the Krakow area, Wieliczka is a small town of close to twenty thousand inhabitants It was founded in the twelfth century by
a local Duke to mine the rich deposits of salt that lie beneath. Until 1996 it did just that but the generations of miners did more than just extract. They left behind them a breathtaking record of their time underground in the shape of statues of mythic, historical and religious figures. They even created their own chapels in which to pray.

Perhaps their most astonishing legacy is the huge underground cathedral they left behind for posterity.

amazing sites. About the most astounding in terms of its sheer size and
audacity is the Chapel of Saint Kinga. The Polish people have for many
centuries been devout Catholics and this was more than just a long term
hobby to relieve the boredom of being underground. This was an act of worship.

Amazingly, even the chandeliers in the cathedral are made of
salt. It was not simply hewn from the ground and then thrown together;
however, the process is rather more painstaking for the lighting. After
extraction the rock salt was first of all dissolved. It was then
reconstituted with the impurities taken out so that it achieved a glass-like
finish. The chandeliers are what many visitors think the rest of the
cavernous mine will be like as they have a picture in their minds of salt as
they would sprinkle on their meals! However, the rock salt occurs naturally
in different shades of grey (something like you would expect granite to look
like).

Still, that doesn’t stop well over one million visitors (mainly
from Poland and its eastern European neighbors) from visiting the mine to
see, amongst other things, how salt was mined in the past.

For safety reasons less than one percent of the mine is open to
visitors, but even that is still almost four kilometers in length – more
than enough to weary the average tourist after an hour or two. The mine was
closed for two reasons – the low price of salt on the world market made it
too expensive to extract here. Also, the mine was slowly flooding – another
reason why visitors are restricted to certain areas only.

The religious carvings are, in reality, what draw many to this
mine – as much for their amazing verisimilitude as for their Christian
aesthetics. The above shows Jesus appearing to the apostles after the
crucifixion. He shows the doubter, Saint Thomas , the wounds on hiswrists.

Another remarkable carving, this time a take on The Last Supper.
The work and patience that must have gone into the creation of these
sculptures is extraordinary. One wonders what the miners would have thought
of their work going on general display? They came to be quite used to it, in
fact, even during the mine’s busiest period in the nineteenth century. The
cream of Europe ’s thinkers visited the site – you can still see many of
their names in the old visitor’s books on display.

These reliefs are perhaps among some of the most iconographic
works of Christian folk art in the world and really do deserve to be shown.
It comes as little surprise to learn that the mine was placed on the
original list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites back in 1978.

Not all of the work is relief-based. There are many life sized
statues that must have taken a considerable amount of time – months, perhaps
even years – to create. Within the confines of the mine there is also much
to be learned about the miners from the machinery and tools that they used –
many of which are on display and are centuries old. A catastrophic flood in
1992 dealt the last blow to commercial salt mining in the area and now the
mine functions purely as a tourist attraction. Brine is, however, still
extracted from the mine – and then evaporated to produce some salt, but
hardly on the ancient scale. If this was not done, then the mines would soon
become flooded once again.

Not all of the statues have a religious or symbolic imagery
attached to them. The miners had a sense of humor, after all! Here can be
seen their own take on the legend of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. The
intricately carved dwarves must have seemed to some of the miners a kind of
ironic depiction of their own work.

The miners even threw in a dragon for good measure! Certainly,
they may have whistled while they did it but the conditions in the salt mine
were far from comfortable and the hours were long – the fact that it was
subterranean could hardly have added to the excitement of going to work each
morning.

To cap it all there is even an underground lake, lit by subdued
electricity and candles. This is perhaps where the old legends of lakes to
the underworld and Catholic imagery of the saints work together to best
leave a lasting impression of the mine. How different a few minutes
reflection here must have been to the noise and sweat of everyday working
life in the mine.

The battle of the cranes is over. The biggest, baddest and newest crane defeated all the rest. Long term resident cranes of Harvard University's Fogg Museum renovation construction project left the area. There is one last crane standing, until the biggest one needs to be dismantled. Then the smaller ones will return. Until then this is what it looks like one week after the smaller cranes raised this giant crane, which now does all the work that the other cranes did. These images captured on December 1, 2011.

To allow Harvard University Skanska construction crews to assemble a ginormous red crane on the renovation construction site of the former Fogg Museum, some streets in the area were closed between Thursday November 17 and Monday November 21, 2011.

After assembling the white support crane the Skanska construction crew began raising the main ten story red crane on the Harvard University Fogg Museum construction site. Prescott Street between Harvard Street and Broadway remained closed.

Day two of assembling the main construction crane on the Fogg Museum renovation site, at Harvard University, Cambridge MA.

On the third day of the assembly of the main construction crane, three courageous Skanska employees walked out along the horizontal segment of the crane to attach cables and to untie guidelines. After assembling the main crane the support crane was taken down and away. Broadway was closed for the entire day as well as Prescott Street all two blocks of it.

Psychologist Ignores Role of Psychiatric Drugs As Cause of Violence

Emily Rooney continues her shameless promotion of psychiatry and abuses of persons with disabilities. Robert Mendoza, Forensic Psychologist, discusses the suspect in a triple murder who is described as having "a history of mental illness." This is the irrational and pervasive phrase used as an excuse for crime. Bigoted human services professionals, and journalists join defense lawyers and prosecutors suggesting with no factual basis that mental illness causes crime. In fact it is the toxic psychiatric drugs which are a known cause of violent thoughts. Even the drug-company-controlled FDA requires a warning label. This forensic psychologist explains he does not know how the courts work. Huh? He stated correctly the legal requirements for an insanity defense. But he used terms like "severe mental illness," "significant mental illness," "major mental illness," without defining the majestic terms. He used the phrase "degree of pathology" applying it to psychiatry. There is no pathology for mental illnesses. They are created out of consensus not science. Psychiatry is personal opinion masquerading as science. Speech and behavior that psychologists and psychiatrists do not like or do not understand is called mental illness. Having human emotions is called mental illness. At no time during this ten minute interview does either of them mention psychiatric drugs which have a serious role hidden by the drug companies and their PR flacks. Many humans are given psychiatric cocktails combining several drugs. No one, repeat, no one knows the effects of the combination of these drugs on humans. Yet journalists and those superior beings who predict the future, whose genes have been cleansed of mendacity, greed and sadism have no skeptics. Journalists accept whatever they say. Judges accept whatever they say. Who needs courts? Why not let these omniscient ones decide who gets what done to them. How many more years of psychobabble will the taxpayer fund on this nonsensical PBS station? Sharon Bialek: The Fourth Herman Cain Accuser

Herman Cain had a bad week last week. This week, there are pictures.

On Monday, a fourth woman accused Cain of sexually inappropriate behavior during his tenure at the National Restaurant Association. Represented by celebrity attorney Gloria Allred, Sharon Bialek was revealed to the media in a live television press conference, putting a name and face to Cain's accusers, who had until Monday remained anonymous. Bialek alleged the following:

She met Cain while employed for an educational offshoot of the National Restaurant Association. After being fired from her job, she called Cain at the suggestion of her boyfriend at the time in the hopes that Cain could assist her in finding new job. Bialek said her boyfriend booked her a room at the Capitol Hilton. When she arrived in July of 1997, she found that she had been given a suite at the hotel. She met Cain in the hotel bar, and he told her that he had been responsible for the nice room. "I upgraded you," he allegedly said.

She said they then went to dinner Italian at an Italian restaurant, where he asked her, "Why are you here?" When she told him about her job search, he said, "I'll look into that." After dinner, he drove her back to the hotel, and offered to show her the National Restaurant Association offices. In the car, Cain put his hand under her skirt and attempted to pull her head towards his crotch. She asked him to back away. "You want a job, right?" she remembers him saying. She asked him to drive her back to his hotel, which he did.

The Cain campaign denied the allegations categorically. "All allegations of harassment against Mr. Cain are completely false. Mr. Cain has never harassed anyone," the statement said. Allred said she had collected sworn statements from Bialek's boyfriend at the time, and another unnamed mentor, testifying to the fact that Bialek had complained in 1997 about the harassment. Bialek said she did not go into detail about the harassment previously because she was embarrassed. Allred said Bialek does not plan to press any charges against Cain, or to profit from selling her story. Allred said she was contacted by Bialek, who wanted to tell her story.

If true, the claims amount to a charge of sexual assault, not simply harassment. Their graphic nature, combined with the fact that the source is on the record, providing television images for the Cain story, will no doubt make the coming week as trying for Cain as last week. On Wednesday evening, Cain is expected to appear at a televised Republican nomination debate in Michigan on CNBC. And there is little doubt that these allegations will continue to hang over every proceeding in the Republican presidential primary.

Three food trucks now stand ready and regularly on city owned land on the over pass between Harvard's Science Center and Harvard Yard. It makes the land safer at night with extra eyes especially on weekends when the trucks remain late serving students and other passersby. Harvard recently added metal chairs and tables for student use even though the weather is getting cooler. These images were captured on Tuesday Election Day November 8, 2011 at about 2:30 PM. The temperature was unusually warm at about 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

After voting on Tuesday November 8, 2011 I saw this Cambridge Health Alliance Patrol car driving along Cambridge Street. It was the first time I saw one of them. Mr. David Cecere spokesman for the Cambridge Health Alliance explained that they've had the cars for a while. He was unable to explain the details of what powers these offiers have. One online site masscops.com in a discussion said they were constables and become special state police officers after gaining some experience. Cecere said he would find out and get back to me.

Los Angeles: On November 2, 2011, at around 11:40 p.m., Rampart Division officers responded to a radio call of an "Assault suspect armed with a gun" at a hotel located in the 300 block of
N. Vermont Avenue. When the officer's arrived, they saw a man on the ground being held by two citizens.

Shortly before police arrived, the desk clerk at a local hotel took notice of a man with a back pack who walked into the lobby and began to suspiciously look around. He asked the clerk about the price of a room, and then pointed a gun at him and demanded money. The suspect walked around the counter where the clerk stood and told him to open the cash register. The clerk, fearing he was going to be shot, opened the register and gave the suspect money.

During the robbery, an elevator door opened, and two hotel guests who happened to be martial arts experts visiting Los Angeles from Oregon for a martial arts' tournament heard the clerk's cry for help and immediately took action. The pair grabbed the suspect who was holding a gun in his right hand. During the tussle with the suspect, the Good Samaritans repeatedly asked him to drop the gun and stop struggling. The pair was finally able to wrestle the gun from the suspect and took him to the ground with a leg sweep and then held him on the ground until Rampart Division officers arrived.

The suspect, identified as 31-year-old Luis Rosales, a resident of Los Angeles, was taken into custody without further incident. In addition, a loaded 9mm handgun and the money taken from the cash register were found inside Rosales' backpack. Rosales was booked for armed robbery with a firearm. His bail is set at $101,250.

2004: Aransas County [TX] Court-At-Law Judge William Adams took a belt to his own teenage daughter as punishment for using the internet to acquire music and games that were unavailable for legal purchase at the time. She has had ataxic cerebral palsy from birth that led her to a passion for technology, which was strictly forbidden by her father's backwards views. The judge's wife was emotionally abused herself and was severely manipulated into assisting the beating and should not be blamed for any content in this video. The judge's wife has since left the marriage due to the abuse, which continues to this day, and has sincerely apologized and repented for her part and for allowing such a thing, long before this video was even revealed to exist. Judge William Adams is not fit to be anywhere near the law system if he can't even exercise fit judgement as a parent himself. Do not allow this man to ever be re-elected again.
