Visiting Albany New York during a working autumn day, this footage shows the state capital campus during lunch hour. The pool and modern buildings, Empire State Plaza, were constructed by former Governor Nelson Rockefeller. Most striking is the Egg which is shown from a few perspectives. The view looking east indicates the grandeur of the state. The capital building is being renovated and looks like the state house in Boston, Massachusetts. Inside it is more luxurious and better maintained than the state house in Boston. State Street is a busy street with restaurants and office buildings. The area around the capital has numerous statues and markers noting the historical contributions of Albany and men born in the city. Are they called Albanians?
