The Cambridge MA Conservation Commission held a hearing on the rehabilitation of the Boston University Bridge on Monday November 17, 2008. The proponent, the MA Department of Conservation and Recreation did not mention the gaggle of white geese who make the meadow aside the BU Bridge their home for 20 years. Nor did they mention any of the other wildlife that occupies that habitat. Cambridge citizens spoke up for the rabbits, geese and other birds.
