James Carville (Bill Clinton's campaign strategist) dismisses best selling books, and TV ratings. He employs personal attacks using psychiatry to discredit someone who disagrees with him. By choosing mental illness as a means to discredit Glenn Beck, Carville shows his animosity toward persons with disabilities. This is a pervasive attitude among politicians journalists and PR flacks. Notice the silence whenever mental illness is used in a negative way openly on network TV. Compare with how any suggestion of a black person being different brings national outrage.
