Beginning at about 8:00 PM on Monday January 18, 2010 I noticed the trouble alarm sounding in the basement of 95 Prescott Street. At midnight it was still sounding. I do not know how long it was sounding before I noticed or how long after. In view of the lack of response to my complaints from HRES and HUPD I sent this notice to the attorney of record for those units of Harvard University. At about 5:20 AM on Tuesday January 19, 2010, the building Fire Alarm sounded in both 85 and 95 Prescott Street. Tenants vacated the building and stood in the cold for about 10 minutes until the Cambridge Fire Department arrived to shut the false alarm. One fireman said it was smoke in the lobby of 85 Prescott, but I did not see any.
