At the intersection of Chilton Street and Concord Avenue, there are three tribute markers for prominent Cambridge residents. It is a way for the Cambridge City Council to honor citizens who contributed to the greatness of the city. But they usually reserve an entire intersection for one person naming it the person's square. In this case there are three markers. Perhaps that burden caused a large nearby tree to fall down. Included is a sign restricting traffic with the unstated exception for Harvard vehicles. For Harvard in Massachusetts laws are optional.
"The most costly of all follies is to believe passionately in the palpably not true. It is the chief occupation of mankind." - H. L. Mencken. "One of the common failings among honorable people is a failure to appreciate how thoroughly dishonorable some other people can be, and how dangerous it is to trust them." - Thomas Sowell. - Join search for truth learn to recognize it when you encounter it.
