It should be no surprise that these students stood by, watched and made videos of the fight. It is what adults do in Massachusetts including but not limited to police, taxpayer funded human services professionals, an elected officials. It is the paradigm that replaced the Good Samaritan standard. Today adults in Massachusetts respond to similar situations when vulnerable persons are being abused wondering how they can benefit from the abuses. Spineless officials ignore the abuses even those with duty to act. In Massachusetts inconvenient laws are optional.
