Burden of Too Many Tributes Fells Tree in Cambridge MA
At the intersection of Chilton Street and Concord Avenue, there are three tribute markers for prominent Cambridge residents. It is a way for the Cambridge City Council to honor citizens who contributed to the greatness of the city. But they usually reserve an entire intersection for one person naming it the person's square. In this case there are three markers. Perhaps that burden caused a large nearby tree to fall down. Included is a sign restricting traffic with the unstated exception for Harvard vehicles. For Harvard in Massachusetts laws are optional.

Parking In a Fire Zone: Do You Know Who I Am?
This shows the rear of two residential buildings owned and operated by The President and Fellows of Harvard College. With clearly displayed Fire Lane No Parking signs five VIPs park their cars on September 13, 2011 at about 2:30 PM creating a barrier for exiting these buildings in case of an emergency. It also blocks emergency workers from entering the buildings to help evacuate the residents. Curiously the Harvard Fire Safety Services group conducted a four day test of their new fire alarm for these buildings on September 6-9, 2011. The following week on Friday September 16, 2011 the control box for one of the buildings emitted an audible alarm indicating on its display panel "System Trouble."
