Technology Gives Terrorists Advantage
Technology Gives Criminals and Terrorists Advantage
"Fox News: The terrorists carried handheld GPS navigators, satellite phones, BlackBerrys and data CDs containing detailed maps and Google Earth images of where they were going." These are are consumer devices that are well-known to most tech savvy citizens. But there are more sophisticated devices using advanced technology which are used for military anti personnel weapons on unsuspecting civilians for nefarious purposes. Unless there is widespread harm journalists ignore these abuses of individuals. Local police are clueless about these technologies and how to curb criminal use on civilians. This story is less than the tip of the iceberg.
