These images from June 27, 2014, show re-paving of the roadway of the tunnel from Cambridge Street and Broadway to Mass Avenue. It was done last summer, 2013, but the bonding agent was reportedly flawed. The cracks showed shortly after it was done. You can see how much of the work needs to be redone. It is reported that it will not cost the city taxpayers for the work.

OCT 20, 2003 Roy Bercaw Speaks to City Council
Roy Bercaw speaks to the Cambridge City Council opposing the Harvard Tunnel under Cambridge Street. He opposes creating an energy Czar for the City. Bercaw applauds the City's effort promoting democracy in Ireland, but suggests the city focus on the city itself. He says the City Council may have violated the Open Meetings Law at the private meeting before the City Council meeting of October 20, 2003. He laments the way that persons with disabilities are treated by politicians, journalists and police.
