State Worker Beaten at SEIU Meeting

This clip shows a bloodied state worker. Police say they have conflicting statements. The SEIU union head admits that the beating victim attended meetings previously and openly criticized SEIU. Rather than noticing that he was a known quantity of criticism and defending his right to do so, the police and the Union head dismissed him as a trouble-maker and a bully. If he was not legally at the meeting that is one thing addressed by trespass laws. But otherwise if the meeting was open and he was there legally this is an easy case of censorship by brute force, something that the leftist union is not averse to doing. What makes this matter more troubling is that Andy Stern the President of the union is the most often visitor to the White House.

AARP Meeting on Health Care Canceled Due to Dissent

At an AARP "town hall" meeting to discuss the health care bill AARP representatives canceled the meeting took the microphone away (ever see the film "Microphone" about how Russia silences dissent?) and left. The members continued discussing the subject showing that there are, at least in Dallas Texas some citizens who are aware of what is happening in this country, and the threats to individual freedoms. Clearly the AARP woman who began the meeting is a control freak and remains clueless about the duties of a person who runs a meeting. It is to keep order and to allow others to speak. You see this same failure at Cambridge City Council meetings often where the chair expresses his or her opinions and makes motions from the chair which is contrary to Robert's Rules of Order.
