Protecting Benches From Mean People
This thoughtful gentleman placed his bike in front of bench in order to protect it from mean people who might sit on it. Whole Foods store on River Street in Cambridge MA has a number of bicycle fixtures to lock bikes about 20 feet from this bench for people. But often bike riders those thoughful public spirited environmentalists park and sometimes lock their bikes to this bench. Once it was a Harvard University student who said what this man said, "It was only for a moment." Ah, yes the moment in which I think only of myself and everyone else be damned. How often is it small inconsiderate events like this that escalate into full blown violence?

Tunisia Proves: People United Can Never Be Defeated
The people, united can never be defeated. One reader adds the corollary , "The bureaucrats united can never be unseated."
