Fake driver’s licenses are flooding our market and could pose a real threat.
2 Investigator Dave Savini reports these bogus licenses are being produced overseas and soldonline.
State and federal officials say they want to shut down the sales of them.
Bogus licenses are seized by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials in big numbers, says Chief Customs Officer Brian Bell.
“We have hundreds of boxes of these,” he says. “They are all containing counterfeit driver’s licenses.”
They are incredible fakes. Smuggled into this country by high-tech forgery rings that have mastered the details so well, they could lead to criticalsecurity threats. Each license costs about $150.

Reports of organ harvesting in China are nothing new, as the government has admitted that the organs of death-row prisoners have been used for transplants, and BBC investigations have found that “British women apply the collagen of executed prisoners to their faces every night.”
But according to longtime China analyst and human-rights investigator Ethan Gutmann in his disturbing new book, “The Slaughter: Mass Killings, Organ Harvesting, and China’s Secret Solution to its Dissident Problem” (Prometheus Books), the realities of the practice are far more awful. He reccollects that when he was a doctor in Urumchi city of East Turkestan (so-called Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous rehion (sic) of China) he was tricked into removing organs from a living prisoner (Uyghur prisoners) who had been executed by shooting but was still alive.

Cambridge City Council Resolution 32

On June 18, 2007, Cambridge City Councilor Henrietta Davis sponsored Resolution # 32 "Welcoming Mr. Sun Shousan and the delegation from the People's Republic of China's General Administration of Press and Publication to Cambridge." Five members of the public spoke against this resolution reporting to the City Council some serious abuses of human rights killing prisoners, selling their organs to medical professionals in the US, placing persons into psychiatric hospitals for their expression in China. One of the speaker's mother is being held at present.
After Councilor Craig Kelley expressed concerns about this resolution, Davis withdrew it. She said she was unaware of any "controversy." China's human rights abuses are known to persons who read newspapers. It is curious that a city official who admires the biotech industry is clueless about such prominent human rights abuses.
