If At First You Don't Succeed . . . Don't Kill The Job

These images of the CRLS (Cambridge MA High School) construction were captured on Saturday June 25, 2011. UPDATE: The bricks were replaced by Wednesday June 29, 2011.

In this image the newly installed brick sidewalk was torn up after being in place for several weeks. Howie Carr would call this an example of "Don't Kill The Job." This explains why public construction projects are so expensive. If the job is done wrong the first couple of times it requires do overs, which cost money.

Another view of the brick sidewalk undone.

It is not clear if these are extra generators or other equipment waiting to be put online, or if it is storage of trash waiting to be removed. In any case the machine is open to the public to take for scrap, or whatever.

Here is a closer view of the machine. The container appears to be damaged on the right side.
