How To Check Against Fake Online Quotes, Facts, Aphorisms

In Google's free online seminar in July 2012, one lesson explains that the high ranking of a search result does not bring credibility. A second search is required to verify the result. The example given in the Google lesson is discussed in the Megan McArdle article.
