Two NY Amish Girls Missing, Found Safe
[From article]
A law enforcement source told the station the girls said they had been abducted by two men, who took them to an abandoned house. The girls said the men told them not to leave and then left.
But the girls instead fled to the home of a man who recognized them and took them home, according to WWNY.
Police say before the girls were kidnapped they went to wait on a customer at the family's roadside stand. A witness saw a passenger in a vehicle put something into the back seat, and when the vehicle drove off, the children were gone.

NY State Employees Abuse Disabled Civilians
[From article]
“These defendants encouraged two developmentally disabled adults to participate in, what I said on record, is a developmentally disabled fight club,” said special prosecutor Jacqueline Kagan, of the New York State Justice Center for Protection of People with Special Needs.
Kagan said one group home worker shot cell phone video while three others raucously laughed, as they encouraged two severely disabled men to fight.
“They encouraged them to strike each other – one knocking over the other in the wheelchair – and then rewarding them with praise,” Kagan said.

Racial Extortion in Albany?
“Paterson directly told [casino mogul Steve] Wynn he needed to have a minority partner, so he went and got Jay-Z. "
I thought that minorities were weak and vulnerable. They can dictate who gets contracts from government agencies? This abuse of race is not limited to New York state. I've been told the same thing in Cambridge, MA that in order to have a state agency consider a complaint one must have a black partner. Isn't that racial extortion? What happened to the equal protection clause? Is it only for homosexuals, blacks and women?

Visiting Albany New York
Visiting Albany New York during a working autumn day, this footage shows the state capital campus during lunch hour. The pool and modern buildings, Empire State Plaza, were constructed by former Governor Nelson Rockefeller. Most striking is the Egg which is shown from a few perspectives. The view looking east indicates the grandeur of the state. The capital building is being renovated and looks like the state house in Boston, Massachusetts. Inside it is more luxurious and better maintained than the state house in Boston. State Street is a busy street with restaurants and office buildings. The area around the capital has numerous statues and markers noting the historical contributions of Albany and men born in the city. Are they called Albanians?
Antrim Mennonite Choir Albany, NY
A choir from the Mennonite Church stood on the sidewalk in Albany, New York on busy State Street below the capital campus singing hymms. I captured them on video September 10, 2008 during a visit to the state capital. They publish a CD called "Amazing Grace." This choir is likely from churches in Shaftsbury, Vermont and Russell, New York.
