MA US Sen. Warren Urges Voters To Act On Behalf of Lobbyists
[video embedded]
[From article]
Lobbyists on both sides of the aisle may not agree more on an issue than the need for amnesty legislation. But Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) told La Raza's annual conference that they should "get louder" to fight "lobbyists" to get amnesty legislation.
Claiming that comprehensive amnesty legislation would also "stabilize" America's Social Security system, Warren told the crowd in Los Angeles on Sunday evening that they needed to "get louder together" pushing for amnesty, because "it is the responsibility of Americans to push on this."
"Be stronger than the lobbyists," she declared. "We have to do this."
Though Warren has often portrayed herself as someone who fights for the people against undefined "powerful lobbyists," the lobbyists are actually on the side of pro-amnesty activists when it comes to "immigration reform." Big-business groups like the Chamber of Commerce and the high-tech lobbies want cheaper labor, and they have aligned themselves with Democrats and pro-amnesty activists to try to ram through a comprehensive bill. The so-called "Forgotten Man" of all races and backgrounds in the middle, including legal immigrants, often has to pay the costs for more social services while losing out on jobs to foreign workers.
[. . .]
But all that did not get in the way of Warren trying to frame amnesty as an issue that pits "the people versus the lobbyists."

NAACP, Black US Rep. Want Payback For Black Votes For MIssissippi Republican
Nothing works as well as buying votes.
[From article]
In an interview with HuffPost Live, Derrick Johnson, president of the Mississippi NAACP, said that Cochran could thank black voters by supporting efforts to re-establish protections in the Voting Rights Act that the Supreme Courtstruck down last year.
"Our advocacy towards his office is to support amending the Voting Rights Act, free of any conditions such as voter ID," Johnson said. "I think this is an opportunity for him to show some reciprocity for African-Americans providing a strong level of support for him."

Nevada Senator Reid Calls Critics Anarchists
[From article]
Does Reid ever ask himself why people who don’t believe in government would bother to get themselves elected to Congress and show up to meetings on time? If they’re anarchists they’re really bad at it.

Harry Reid: The anarchists have taken over Congress!
By Doug Powers

Published on Apr 24, 2013
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Tuesday equated the Tea Party to a non-violent "anarchist" group because, in his mind, Tea Partiers don't believe in any form of government. He was speaking about the sequester and other financial issues on the Senate floor. "We have a situation where this country has been driven by the Tea Party for the last number of years," Reid said. "When I was in school, I studied government and I learned about the anarchists. Now, they were different than the Tea Party because they were violent. But they were anarchists because they did not believe in government in any level and they acknowledged it. The Tea Party kind of hides that." Reid said Tea Party members don't do physically destructive things to buildings or people "directly" but they do everything they can to "throw a monkey wrench into any form of government." "Anything they can do to throw a monkey wrench into the wheels of government, they are happy to do that," he added.

U.S. Senate Immigration Bill S. 744
How Bad is the Immigration Reform Bill S. 744?
Listen to Jessica Vaughan’s Brilliant Interview –
fast forward to 1:59.33
On Tuesday, Jessica Vaughan was interviewed by Jeff Kuhner,
WRKO AM 680.
Jessica exposed some of S. 744’s most sinister aspects which,
amazingly, are being promoted by Republicans Marco Rubio,
John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Kelly Ayotte, Paul Ryan et al.
To listen in on Jessica’s lucid expose, fast forward to 1:59.33.
(once you listen to this interview, hopefully you will be motivated to do
something about it.)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agsj8Zv598w
A Reminder – If the “The Gang-of-8”s bill S. 744 is passed in
its current form, 11-15 million illegal aliens (actually criminals)
will be granted amnesty, and we will end up with a one-party
political system over night.
What can you do?
We invite you to join our Secure Borders Action Team (SBAT).
As a member of our Action Team, you will have the opportunity
in the next few days to make a significant difference. Working
with Jessica Vaughan, we have created a multi-faceted plan to
stop S. 744 dead in the Senate.
Right now, our chances look far better than Tuesday's Senate
vote indicates. Tuesday's vote was not a big deal. It was simply
a vote to proceed with the "mark up" phase where amendments
are proposed and discussion is carried on. Most
Republicans who voted to proceed will NOT vote for the Bill when
it is up for the final vote.
The message to the Senators is simple … We need immigration
reform, but we must protect our borders first. Only when the borders
are secured, should we proceed with fixing the many other problems.
In short, we urge the key Senators to move slowly with a step-by-step
approach.
To get started … we will provide you with easy to use tools with
with easy to understand instructions. It includes a Call Sheet listing
13 pivotal Senators/phone numbers and the “5 Myths” talking points.
(FYI, there is also an important ACTION meeting next week.)
Simply send me an email requesting the Call Sheet and talking points
and I will respond within 24 hours.

Bush Derangement Syndrome Lives in MA Dems
These images are from a campaign mailing for the special US Senate election on January 19, 2010 in Massachusetts.
You can see that the Massachusetts Democratic Party is suffering from severe Bush Derangement Syndrome. It is one year since George Bush is no longer President.
But those with acute BDS continue to run election campaigns against him. If the Democratic candidate and her paid advisers and consultants use cognitive dissonance to try to persuade voters, is there any hope that we will ever be able to believe what politicians say and do?
In January 2010 Bush and Obama have about the same favorable opinion ratings by American citizens. Why would anyone want to equate a fresh faced candidate, MA State Senator Scott Brown with Bush, who is now as popular as the current President?
Perhaps the Democratic political consultants are living in the past and the candidates are unable to question their wisdom. Is that why Michael Meehan, an Obama appointee working for the Coakley campaign assaulted a reporter when the journalist asked an embarrassing question of the Mass Attorney General?
