Sharpton and Curington’s ventures included trying to help Joe Robinson of the Sugar Hill Records label cut a $6.5 million deal with MCA during the late 1980s.
The agreement fell through, but Sharpton and Curington still expected a “hefty, six-figure fee” from Robinson, who called the cops when two mob goons showed up at Robinson’s studio to demand payment, The Smoking Gun reported.
After that call, Sharpton sent a letter to an Englewood, NJ, detective vowing protests if he and Curington weren’t paid. Sharpton now says he doesn’t remember writing it

Al Sharpton yesterday claimed that he first ran into the FBI’s arms after his life was threatened by gangsters, an incident that prompted him to then record 10 face-to-face encounters with one of those dangerous hoodlums.
That story is a lie.

Instead, Sharpton was confronted by FBI agents who showed him the “cocaine” videotape. The panicked reverend agreed--on the spot--to cooperate with federal agents, according to sources familiar with the contents of Sharpton’s FBI informant file.

While the stated goal for Sharpton was to bring the many different groups together to discuss solutions to the city’s violence epidemic, he may not have gotten the types of responses he was looking for. Calls for more gun control laws and getting guns off the streets were nonexistent and not mentioned by residents throughout the session.
Instead, attendees offered solutions addressing the problems facing their community as a whole rather than just taking on “gun violence” itself. Audience members addressed the need for jobs and solving the foreclosure crisis plaguing Chicago’s south and west sides. Perhaps the loudest message—and one that Reverend Al or the Chicago media have yet to report on—echoed by several different people in attendance as well as panel members was that it is time for the black community to start voting differently.

McKinley called on President Obama to help the grassroots by discontinuing aid and government grants that go through Chicago’s political machine to “name-brand-blue-ribbon-negro-organizations” such as the NAACP and Urban League. But Sharpton demands special consideration because he is superior to white people. His hate speech and racist speech should protected. Sharpton should just say it at home and stop offending me on the radio and TV. He wants to prohibit racist, sexist and homophobic speech, but does not define what that is. It may be whatever Sharpton wants it to be in order to silence speech that he and his FBI criminal handlers do not like.

All free speech advocates who sat silently when the false accusations of racism were hurled at Mr. Limbaugh at the time of the NFL ownership controversy should take note of how Mr. Sharpton feels empowered. It is the classic slippery-slope scenario, but since the target was Rush, the free speech fighters on the left are letting it happen.

On the same day as the "Restoring Honor" rally in Washington DC, Al Sharpton led a march and rally to the site of the future MLK Memorial. It is truly amazing to consider the fact, as brought out by one speaker, that all other memorials in DC are for Presidents, yet MLK, as a civilian, had incredible influence on America, and will receive this one-of-a-kind honor. The presentation and signs at this rally focused on attacking Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin, but not exclusively; there were unifying aspects to the rally as well. However, this footage speaks for itself, and overwhelmed the positive message.

Al Sharpton did not give a speech at this featured part of the event, because he had spoken before the march, and the heat's effect on the crowd was a concern, so the rally was shortened. Even though he was present for this entire event, the only part of this video directly from Sharpton, is a brief chant he led.

Gang of Black Students Beat up 13 Year-Old White Boy

In this clip from NBC news a 13 year-old, the only white student in an otherwise all black school is beaten by a gang of black teens. His mother reports he is regularly beaten and verbally attacked racially. Where is Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. I thought they opposed racial violence. It appears that some racially motivated violence is OK with them. Does that make them racists?
YouTube censored this video clip after more than 60,000 views and more than 700 text comments. The intense animosity from whites toward blacks, from blacks toward whites, from Mexicans toward Americans and from Arabs toward Americans is instructive. All too many politicians refuse to recognize this hatred among the citizens. It will only get worse until the false beliefs are addressed and people are informed of facts not irrational beliefs.
