New Broadway Lake Forms

Shortly after the rain storm ended on Thursday June 5, 2014, a new lake was formed on Broadway near the southeast corner with Quincy Street. This is new pavement and there is no place for the water which accumulates to run off. Will boating be allowed?

The boutique Hotel Veritas is open with its elegant entrance on Remington Street, steps from Mass Avenue. Here is the entrance and the patio lounge which is open late.











New Cambridge Restaurant

Harvest India is the newest restaurant along Mass Avenue between Central and Harvard Square. It occupies a street level space between Dana Street and Ellery Street.

Tree Stump Remains After Hurricane Earl Passed

Later in the day (September 4, 2010) after Hurricane Earl passed near Massachusetts this tree stump was all that remained. Mother Nature stopped the tree from walking away from its roots.
















A local sculptor added a public display of bricks.

New business (Restaurant?) opening in September in Cambridge. Among products promised are Vegan shoes. Will they be edible? Is this a shoe store or a fast food restaurant? Will they post the calorie content?

HARVARD SPIN DOCTORS IN ACTION

At hearings before the Cambridge, Massachusetts City government Harvard University's contractors, architects, landscapers, etc., made 4 (among many) questionable statements before city boards and commissions. This is regular occurrence. City officials participate in these glorified charades and try to silence any criticism of the abuses of the process.
